Installing AlbumEasy

After downloading AlbumEasy from the download page, select the appropriate installation method:

  • Download and then execute the installation program AlbumEasySetupV4.1.exe to install AlbumEasy.
  • Double click on the AlbumEasy icon to launch the application.

  • Download AlbumEasySetupV4.1.0.pkg to the Desktop
  • Double click to start the installation
  • If the installation fails to start with a message similar to: "AlbumEasySetupV4.1.0.pkg" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer:
    • Control-click the AlbumEasySetupV4.1.0.pkg
    • Select "Open" from the drop-down menu. A new window will appear
    • Select "Open" to launch the installer.
  • After AlbumEasy has been installed AlbumEasySetupV4.1.0.pkg is no longer required and can be moved to the trash.
  • To launch the application use Finder to find AlbumEasy, and then double click on the AlbumEasy icon.

  • Download AlbumEasySetupV4.1.0_64bit.tgz and extract the contents into an appropriate location in the Linux file system e.g /home/USER-NAME/AlbumEasy
  • Open a shell command prompt, change to this folder, and then execute the CONFIG script by typing:
    This will create an AlbumEasy desktop shortcut and an AlbumEasy documents folder pre-populated with the examples.
  • Double click on the AlbumEasy icon to launch the application.
